Following input from participants, the GRISO WG released a report of the International Workshop on Understanding the Response of Greenland’s Marine-Terminating Glaciers to Oceanic and Atmospheric Forcing – Challenges to improving observations, process understanding and modeling”. The workshop took place in Beverly, MA, in June 2013. The report was commissioned by US CLIVAR, NSF, and the US Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC). 2012 - Understanding the Dynamic Response of Greenland’s Marine Terminating Glaciers to Oceanic and Atmospheric Forcing
The US CLIVAR GRISO WG has released its White Paper entitled “Understanding the Dynamic Response of Greenland’s Marine Terminating Glaciers to Oceanic and Atmospheric Forcing” as US CLIVAR Report 2012-2. The document is an evolved version of an earlier draft (December 2011, see below), which had been widely distributed and significantly enhanced based on broad community feedback. The GRISO WG wishes to thank all those who took time to provide comments and suggestions.
